What's New in OrcheStream
New Features
Pre-Event Tech Check
Give your room devices a health check before showtime. Run a quick test on a device — or schedule one automatically ahead of your event — to confirm it's online, responsive, and its volume is working, right from the monitoring page. No more surprises when it's time to go live.
You can also set a cutoff time to not allow tech checks to run once you're within a prescribed window of time before the event, right from Account Settings.
Manual Launch mode
Choose exactly when a device starts. Alongside Auto-launch and Prompt-to-launch, you can now set a device (or your whole account, by default) to only start streaming when someone clicks Launch — one device at a time, or in bulk.
Prefer everything to start manually? Set that as your account's default in Account Settings.
Improvements
- The "Historical Sessions" list now only shows events that have actually wrapped up — no more upcoming events showing where they don't belong.
- Live monitoring updates faster and reconnects on its own if your connection drops.
- Your account page now shows how many devices you can stream to at once.
- You can now assign an event to your Admin team right from the page you're already on.
- Event status (in progress, upcoming, done) is more accurate everywhere you see it.
Fixed
- A device's live status could be briefly missed right after it started.
- A device setup check could show an error it shouldn't have.
- A rare error on the events page during its automatic refresh.
- A display issue in account settings.
- Added extra security protections to help keep your account and data safe.
